office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Florida) will
mark the Muslim fast of Ramadan by providing hot meals to more than 100
residents in the city of Hollywood.

Ramadan is a month during which healthy Muslims abstain from food, drink
and other sensual pleasures from dawn to sunset. It is a month of spiritual
reflection and renewal and a time to reach out the community, particularly
to those in need.
As Muslims it is our duty to be charitable and giving back to our community
is one way we can help those in needs and build bridges of
understanding. During this month Muslims focus on improving themselves and
