Look at what your financial support has enabled us to accomplish this year:
- Our government affairs team advanced important policy initiatives, including the historic Combating International Islamophobia Act (H.R. 5665), which would establish a special envoy to monitor and combat Islamophobia at the State Department.
- Our legal team successfully advanced litigation to defend the rights of Muslim Americans, including lawsuits against unconstitutional anti-boycott laws in Texas and other states.
- Our research team released multiple reports highlighting the rising threat of anti-Muslim bigotry and celebrating the historic number of candidates who identify as Muslim running for elected office, among other important topics.
- Our communications team reaches out daily to media outlets and journalists at the local, state, national and international levels articulating the voice of the mainstream Muslim community on a wide variety of issues. Media coverage of issues you care about reaches tens of millions of your fellow Americans.
When the constitutional rights and freedoms of Muslims are attacked, CAIR gets results.
Much more work needs to be done.
Despite the unprecedented attacks on our faith, other minorities and our democracy, we are witnessing a wave of civic and political engagement. We need to keep the momentum in 2022.
