NY: Muslim Appointed as Commissioner of Human Rights

Human Rights Commissioner Nassau County NY Zahid-Ali Syed Zahid-Ali Syed a
Labor and Community activist appointed by Nassau County to serve as a Human
Rights Commissioner in Nassau County, Long Island New York, Mr. Zahid-Ali
have long time community service record and he is active community member
who have been active in Labor, Politics and Immigration matters and fought
for it.

Zahid-Ali have been elected twice for Working Families Party Queens
Co-Chair (WFP is the third Largest Political Party in NY), and he have been
elected three time as different positions as a Labor Leader, right now he
serve Local 338 RWDSU/UFCW/AFL-CIO which is the largest Labor Union in the
United States. Mr. Zahid-Ali also serves as committee member in Democrat
Party Nassau County.

Nassau County is the Nation’s largest suburb, and Nassau County Family
income is in the top ten percent of the nation, The county’s educational
system is the best in the nation, South Asian and Muslim community is the
fastest growing community in the Nassau County.
