“It is likely that Ohio will be a key swing state in the upcoming
presidential elections,” said CAIR-Ohio Executive Director Jad Humeidan.
“Our polling shows that Muslims will support candidates who speak to their
concerns, regardless of party affiliation.” Humeidan said Ohio is home to
an estimated 150,000 Muslims. (As a non-profit group, CAIR does not endorse
candidates, but does encourage political participation.)
