Yesterday, CAIR representatives conducted a session called “Activism into Action” at The Wing DC, a women-only co-working space in Georgetown. Zainab Arain, CAIR research and advocacy manager, presented data from our Targeted and Hijacked by Hate reports and held a Q&A with the audience. Jinan Shbat, CAIR national events and outreach manager, then led an interactive workshop on bystander intervention and de-escalation in everyday scenarios.
