Sacramento Community Interfaith Car Caravan for Lives Lost Sunday, August 30th at 3 PM

(SACRAMENTO, CA, 8/30/20) – Sacramento Valley Muslim Community! Please do not miss out on this extremely important community event!
We are asking the Sacramento community to join us in our Interfaith Ride Out Caravan tomorrow, Sunday August 30th from 3 – 5 p.m. Show up with your fellow interfaith communities to lament and mourn the lives lost to law enforcement and COVID-19 alongside our fellow community members and partners. This event is a family friendly and safe event co-hosted by CAIR Sacramento Valley.

ARRIVAL: 2:30 PM
LOCATION: HUGHES STADIUM- 3835 FREEPORT BLVD, SACRAMENTO, CA 95822
STEP 1: PARK (PLEASE STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES).

DURING PROCESSION:
STEP 1: TUNE INTO KDEE 97.5 FM  (TO LISTEN TO THE PROGRAM)
STEP 2: FOLLOW THE CAR CARAVAN 
STEP 3: ARRIVE AND STOP IN FRONT OF CAPITAL (STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE)
STEP 4: PROCESSION COMES TO AN END AT THE PARKING GARAGE 10TH & I STREET. YOU MAY PARK IN THE GARAGE IF YOU WISH TO JOIN THE CELEBRATION. SEE THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.

DURING CELEBRATION:
STEP 1: FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO FEEL COMFORTABLE JOINING US AT CESAR CHAVEZ PARK, *WE WILL PROVIDE FREE PARKING IN THE PARKING GARAGE ON 10TH & I STREET.
STEP 2: WEAR A MASK AND BE SOCIALLY DISTANCED.
