Today: CAIR to Host Maryland Webinar on 2020 Census to Debunk Myths, Encourage Participation

(Baltimore, Md., 5/1/20) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, will hold a webinar this afternoon on the 2020 Census to highlight its significance, debunk myths and encourage participation.

Panelists include Maryland State Delegate Gabriel Acevero,  Deputy Director of Howard County Department of Community Resources and Services Stephanie Adibe, CAIR Government Affairs Director Robert McCaw, ADC National Legal and Policy Director Abed Ayoub, and CAIR-SFBA Executive Director Zahra Billoo.

Topics that will be covered include the importance of participating, addressing misconceptions, controversies and privacy concerns, what’s at stake for diverse communities, and how everyone can get involved and make a difference.
