Tomorrow: CAIR-CA, CFA, AROC, and JVP Bay Area Lead Press Conference and Rally in Sacramento Reaffirming Opposition to AB 715

Tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 19, at noon, a coalition of civil rights organizations and advocates will hold a press conference at the Cactus Garden in Sacramento (N Street & 15th Street), followed by a rally at the same location and visits to lawmakers’ offices. The coalition will reaffirm its concerns with AB 715—a dangerous pro-Israel public education bill designed to suppress and censor education about Palestine and Palestinians and shield Israel and the political ideology of Zionism from scrutiny, threatening academic freedom, critical reasoning and thinking, and historical fact across California schools.
