Video: CAIR Coordinates Self-Empowerment Training for Female Muslim Students at Md. University

(BALTIMORE, MD, 11/24/2021) – On Wednesday, November 23rd, the Council on American-Islamic Relations successfully coordinated a self-empowerment training for female Muslim students at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), where a Muslim student had her hijab pulled off in a reported hate crime last week.

CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
