Video: CAIR to Offer Pre-Ramadan ‘Know Your Rights: Religious Accommodations at Work and in School’ Facebook Live Event

(WASHINGTON, DC, 4/10/18) – On Wednesday, April 18, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will offer a “Know Your Rights: Religious Accommodations at Work and in School” Facebook Live video workshop at 1 PM ET.

The live Facebook workshop will help individuals better understand their legal rights in the workplace and at school. It will address common questions for American Muslims as they attempt to balance their obligations as employees and students, while also observing the upcoming month-long fast of Ramadan, which will begin in mid-May.

CAIR attorneys will discuss legal rights and best practices for seeking religious accommodations such as prayer, breaking the Ramadan fast, head coverings, and holidays.
