CAIR-SV PARTICIPATES IN ‘RACE FOR THE CURE’
(SACRAMENTO, CA, 5/18/07) – Representatives of the Sacramento Valley chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SV) recently took part in the annual Susan B. Komen “Race for the Cure.” The race is designed to raise awareness of issues related to breast cancer. More than 20 CAIR-SV members participated in the race as part of the national Muslims Care campaign.
Muslims Care is an annual campaign designed to encourage Muslim volunteerism and to make a positive contribution to our society.
