(BALTIMORE, MD, 6/3/2022) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned antisemitic flyers left near a synagogue in Silver Spring, Md.
The flyers, one of which featured a Nazi swastika and another with a derogatory referrence to the victims of the Holocaust, were left at a bus stop across from the synagogue. Montgomery County police are investigating the incident.

“We condemn these hateful flyers and stand in solidarity with the Jewish community against antisemitism and hate,” said CAIR’s Maryland Director Zainab Chaudry.
She said CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, and white supremacy.
