On Friday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m. ET, the Islamic Maryland Action Network, comprised of the Maryland office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Justice For All DC, United Maryland Muslim Council and more than two dozen mosques and community organizations, is planning to hold a news conference in Annapolis to urge state lawmakers to support and pass a ceasefire resolution that was introduced in the Maryland General Assembly this week by Delegate Gabriel Acevero and cosponsored by seven other lawmakers.
