On Friday, January 26, CAIR joined IMAN Network, Maryland families from Gaza and State Delegates Gabriel Acevero, Ashanti Martinez and Caylin Young urging state lawmakers to acknowledge the pain, trauma and suffering caused by 115 days of bombing Gaza by passing Joint Resolution 2 Ceasefire in Israel and Palestine.
Israel’s military campaign has destroyed every hospital in Gaza, displaced nearly two million people and killed over 30,000 civilians, of whom about 70 percent were children and women.
