Tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 28, the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) will host a Community Safety Conference to provide critical resources and expert guidance to community leaders and organizations applying for or managing the Department of Justice Nonprofit Security Grant (NSG).
With Minnesota leading the nation in attacks on mosques—44 incidents in the past three years and 16 in 2024 alone, causing over $3 million in damages—this conference aims to equip organizations with the necessary tools to enhance security and safeguard their places of worship.
CAIR-MN supported 21 recipients of the Federal Grant to help with recent rise in targeted attacks against Mosques in Minnesota.
