CAIR-NJ, Partners to Host 6th Annual Muslim Day of Advocacy at State House in Trenton

On Thursday, November 13, the New Jersey chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-NJ), along with a number of community partner organizations, will co-host the 6th Annual Muslim Day of Advocacy (MDA) on Nov. 13 at the New Jersey State House in Trenton. 

This event brings together Muslim leaders, activists, students and community members from across the New Jersey to engage directly with their state elected representatives. 

The event’s legislative agenda includes several key issues, including opposing adoption of the IHRA definition of antisemitism, a legislation that would impede the freedom of speech to criticize the Israeli government, supporting the Immigrant Trust Act and the New Jersey Voting Rights Act
