This event is designed for individuals who want to understand how the Maryland legislative process works, how to sign up to testify on bills in Annapolis, and how to effectively engage lawmakers during the upcoming 2026 legislative session.
Participants will learn:

• How bills are introduced, heard, amended, and passed
• How to identify and contact your representatives
• How to sign up to testify on bills
• How to advocate effectively for issues impacting our communities
• Key dates and opportunities for engagement, including Muslim Lobby Day
