The Maryland office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today thanked the more than 300 community members who registered and took part in the 2026 Maryland Muslim Lobby Day at the state capitol in Annapolis last evening, noting that their civic engagement helped advance the Muslim community’s priorities during this legislative session.

Muslim community members, coalition partners, students, faith leaders, and advocates gathered at the Maryland House of Delegates to meet with legislators and advocate for a broad legislative agenda centered on civil rights, education equity, youth justice reform, voting protections, immigrant rights, and ethical stewardship of public resources.
