The Council on American-islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, has released the latest episode of its weekly podcast CAIR on AIR featuring guest Kamel Musallet, whose son Saifullah Musallet was murdered by Israeli settlers in July 2025.

In this week’s episode of CAIR on Air, Kamel joins us to tell the story of his son’s murder, explain the violent tactics of racist Israeli settlers backed by the Israeli apartheid military in the occupied West Bank, and the escalating attacks on Palestinian villages, including a village full of American citizens.
Join us as we discuss the loss of a son with his father, its local and international impact, and the realities of life in the Occupied West Bank that many people never hear firsthand.
Since the tragedy, Kamel has become a powerful voice calling for accountability, justice, and greater awareness of the realities Palestinians are facing in the occupied territories. In the episode, Kamel shares who his son really was before the headlines, what brought him back to Palestine, and the devastating chain of events that changed his family forever. Kamel explains the growing tensions in the West Bank, the escalating violence surrounding Palestinian villages, and the daily fears many families living there face.
Our discussion also goes into the emotional toll of losing a child, what happened in the hours after his son was attacked, and why Kamel believes there has still been no real accountability despite the international attention surrounding the case. Kamel shares how his family changed after the tragedy, the restrictions they now face, and why people must understand what is happening beyond the headlines and political talking points.
CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
