The Ohio chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-OH) today joined the Columbus NAACP in condemning the distribution of Ku Klux Klan flyers to homes in Worthington and Clintonville.
According to a Worthington police report, the department took calls from several residents Tuesday about paper flyers containing information about the KKK found in the roads and on sidewalks in several neighborhoods. The flyers appeared to be randomly tossed out of a vehicle, according to the report.

“We stand in solidarity with the NAACP, the African-American community and all others targeted by the KKK’s vile hate and propaganda,” said CAIR Central and Southern Ohio Director Khalid Turaani. “All Ohioans and all Americans must stand together in repudiation of the rising tide of racism in our nation.”
CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
