(MINNEAPOLIS, MN, 10/7/14) – On Saturday, October 11, the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) will host its 3rd Annual Free Brief Advice Legal Clinic at the Twin Cities Day of Dignity.

WHERE: Masjid An Nur, 1729 North Lyndale Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55411
The Twin Cities Day of Dignity is an annual community event hosted by Masjid An-Nur, Al Maauum Neighborhood Outreach, and Islamic Relief. It offers free services, including health care services, haircuts, books and school supplies, winter clothing, health and hygiene clinics, music, and more.

The Free Brief Advice Legal Clinic will provide advice in areas such as civil rights, housing, family law, immigration, and employment.
“Many individuals find it difficult to understand and navigate the legal system,” said CAIR-MN Civil Rights Attorney Ellen Longfellow. “CAIR-MN seeks to make legal services more accessible in the community.”
CAIR-MN has created a network of 50 Minnesota Muslim attorneys and law students. The group plans to organize more free legal clinics and seminars in the community. Attorneys and law students interested in volunteering can contact CAIR-MN email@example.com or 612-206-3360
