The DC Muslim Youth Leadership Symposium (or MYLS), is an intensive series of leadership-building workshops for Muslim youth ages 14-22 that aims to spark interest and empower young people to be active in civic engagement, community organizing, and the media.
The core mission of MYLS is to provide American Muslim youth a proactive framework for positive activism that empowers them to lead their communities from the margins to the mainstream, and foster a healthy Muslim identity that fits comfortably within a pluralistic American society.

- How to get what you want: Politicking 101
- Innovative Ways to Talk about Islam in America
- Stand up for Justice: Building a toolkit for addressing school-based issues
