CAIR-FL: Immigration officials to begin screening social media posts under new federal rule – Tampa Bay Times

Omar Saleh, an attorney for the Council on American-Islamic Relations Florida, said that monitoring personal social media feeds to dictate immigration status is anti-American.

“Silencing free speech and judging someone’s right to live in the U.S. based on their thoughts is deeply troubling and goes against our Constitution,” said Saleh. “But it’s happening.”
