Muslim civil rights and advocacy group also condemns reports of Israel’s systematic use of Palestinians as human shields
(WASHINGTON, D.C., 5/24/2025) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the Israeli government’s bombing of a Gaza doctor’s home, burning nine of her 10 children to death while she worked at a hospital, as “pure evil.”

In a statement, CAIR said:
“Pure evil. That is the only way we can describe the Israeli government bombing the home of a doctor in Gaza as she worked at a hospital, burning nine of her ten children to death with weapons supplied by the American government and paid for with American tax dollars.
“Pure evil. Benjamin Netanyahu is a racist, a sociopath and a mass murderer leading a government of racists, sociopaths and mass murderers. For how much longer will Donald Trump continue Joe Biden’s policy of unconditional support for these killers?”
Yesterday, CAIR condemned the Israeli government’s mass slaughter of civilians in the bombing of a residential building in Gaza.
CAIR also called for international actions after Associated Press exposed Israel’s systematic use of Palestinians as human shields in its campaign of genocide.
Israel has slaughtered more than 53,000 people in Gaza, mostly women and children.
CAIR recently condemned Florida Congressman Randy Fine’s statement calling for the nuclear annihilation of Gaza and urged both Republican and Democratic leaders to take immediate action to publicly denounce his genocidal rhetoric and remove him from all congressional committees and caucuses.
