CAIR Condemns Distribution of Racist Flyers in Connecticut

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 4/27/2023) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of racist flyers in Rocky Hill, Conn.

The flyers, which appear to have been distributed by a White supremacist organization, were discovered in Rocky Hill two weeks ago. Rocky Hill citizens expressed their concerns over the flyers at a meeting of the city’s Commission on Inclusion and Innovation yesterday.

“We condemn the spread of this hateful propaganda and stand in solidarity with the residents of Rocky Hill against racism and white supremacy,” said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper.

He noted that CAIR’s Connecticut chapter previously condemned the distribution of similar flyers in Westport, Conn.
