The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the distribution of racist Ku Klux Klan (KKK) propaganda in Ohio and of antisemitic flyers in Tennessee.
In a statement, CAIR said:
“We condemn any attempts to promote hatred and division in our communities and call on all public officials, religious leaders and activists to speak out against the bigotry that is spreading nationwide.”
Washington, D.C., based CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
