The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned the killing of 51 people, including infants, in an Israeli operation in Southern Gaza.
At least 51 people were reportedly killed and 82 wounded in the operation in Khan Younis that began early Wednesday. Records at the European Hospital showed seven women and 12 children, as young as 22 months old, were among those killed. The total death toll in Gaza has reached 41,689.

In a statement, CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper said:
“Every day, more and more civilians – mostly children and women – are slaughtered by Israeli forces in the genocide targeting the Palestinian people. How many more massacres must the world witness before the Biden administration takes action and puts an end to this madness? The genocidal Israeli government and its supporters must be held accountable for their atrocities.”
He noted that earlier today, CAIR condemned President Biden for enabling the murder of an American citizen in an Israeli bombing attack in Lebanon.
