CAIR Condemns March by Neo-Nazis in Nashville

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned a neo-Nazi march in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday.

Some of the neo-Nazis reportedly carried black Nazi flags.

“We condemn this display of neo-Nazi hate and urge local and state leaders to speak out strongly to repudiate all forms of bigotry,” said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper.

In January, CAIR condemned a racist, antisemitic incident in which a group of men projected an image of a Nazi swastika onto a building on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.

La misión de CAIR es proteger las libertades civiles, mejorar la comprensión del Islam, promover la justicia, y empoderar a los musulmanes en los Estados Unidos.
