(BALTIMORE, MD, 10/27/2023) – The Maryland office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned a hate letter mailed to a Palestinian-American family glorifying the brutal genocide unfolding in Gaza.
“I hope Jews accomplish one thing in their mission in Gaza. That is eliminate every wh*re who will give birth to future rats to continue their worldly mission of destruction…We had a saying in Vietnam I hope the Jews use in Gaza. ‘Kill them all and let God sort them out.’”
“It requires a certain level of moral depravity to send a letter so evil and vile, especially to a family whose loved ones have been killed in Israel’s indiscriminate carpet bombing of Gaza,” said CAIR’s Maryland director Zainab Chaudry. “This reprehensible message is partly a consequence of irresponsible journalism and the incessant scapegoating and dehumanization of Palestinians in western media and by President Biden and officials at every level of our government.”
The death toll has exceeded 7,000 Palestinians killed in Gaza, including over 3,000 children.
Earlier today, CAIR called on the Biden Administration to stop dehumanizing Palestinian civilians and justifying their deaths after a National Security Council official seemed to justify the massive civilian death toll in Gaza and cast doubt on the number of Palestinians killed.
