The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned a white supremacist march in Utah.
Online videos reportedly show dozens of members of the white supremacist group Patriot Front wearing white face coverings and holding a sign that read “Deport Invaders” marching in front of the city hall in Herriman, Utah.

“We condemn this and all other attempts by white supremacist groups to spread their message of hatred and division nationwide,” said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper. “Leaders of all faiths and backgrounds – regardless of where they fall on the political spectrum – must speak out against the rising bigotry targeting minority communities.”
CAIR has in the past responded to a number of bias incidents in Utah and to incidents involving the Patriot Front nationwide.
Washington, D.C., based CAIR and the American Muslim community stand in solidarity with all those challenging antisemitism, systemic anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, white supremacy, and all other forms of bigotry.
