“We urge every eligible Muslim to register and participate in early voting, especially in light of the alarming rise in Islamophobia and hate crimes this year,” said CAIR Government Affairs Coordinator Shafiquil Muhshna. “This election is more critical than ever for our community. By voting, we take a stand against bigotry and discrimination, ensuring that the leaders we elect will protect our rights and address the issues affecting us. Our participation is not just about casting a ballot—it’s about safeguarding our future, strengthening our voice, and shaping a more inclusive Virginia for all.”
