(LOS ANGELES, CA – 6/13/2023) – The Greater Los Angeles Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA) today condemned the distribution of antisemitic flyers in a neighborhood in San Bernardino, Calif., over the past weekend.
Residents of the Redlands neighborhood woke Sunday morning to discover plastic bags containing leaflets with antisemitic messages distributed in the driveways of homes throughout the community. According to one resident, this is the second time an incident like this has occurred in the area in the last few years.

In a statement, CAIR-LA Executive Director Hussam Ayloush said:
“We are extremely alarmed by this disturbing show of antisemitism. Hate has no place in our society, much less in our neighborhoods and homes, where people should feel safe, respected, and free from discrimination.
“We condemn this hateful act and stand in solidarity with our Jewish neighbors. We thank the San Bernardino police department for its ongoing investigation into this incident, and the Redlands community for unequivocally rejecting this, and all other, acts of hate.”
The San Bernardino Police department urges any individuals who may have received one of these plastic bags or who may have information relevant to the ongoing investigation to contact them immediately.
