CAIR-LA to Join Coalition of Immigrant Rights Organizations to Present Post-Election Vision

On Thursday, Nov. 7, the Greater Los Angeles Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA) will join a broad coalition of civil and immigrant rights, legal, labor, faith, and community organizations to hold a press conference and rally outside Los Angeles City Hall to present their analysis, reactions, and vision for a united and just nation for all in the wake of the 2024 general election. The coalition will share their plans to continue seeking humane and permanent immigration solutions under the new administration.

Across California, hundreds of volunteers have been actively getting out the vote and encouraging Californians to express their views on important issues such as the economy, affordable housing, mental health and other services for the unhoused, access to healthcare, immigration reform, women’s health, education, clean water, and safety. At the press conference, the organizations that led these vital civic engagement activities will report on their accomplishments and what comes next.
