(BOSTON, MA, 7/3/2022) – The Massachusetts chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MA), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned a march Saturday in Boston, Mass., by some 100 members of the white supremacist group Patriot Front.

“While all Americans – even bigots – have the right to march, people valuing a just and inclusive society also have the right to condemn the hatred those bigots spew and to reject the division they seek,” said CAIR-MA Executive Director Tahirah Amatul-Wadud.

She said the American Muslim community and CAIR stand in solidarity with all those challenging anti-Black racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, antisemitism, white supremacy and all other forms of bigotry.

CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.

La misión de CAIR es proteger las libertades civiles, mejorar la comprensión del Islam, promover la justicia, y empoderar a los musulmanes en los Estados Unidos.
