(MINNEAPOLIS, MN, 6/25/23) – Tomorrow, Monday, June 26, the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) will join the families of five female Muslims killed in a recent vehicular crash to speak about their loved ones and to discuss the next steps they plan to take, including calling for an independent investigation of the deadly incident.

Salma Mohamed Abdikadir, 20; Sahra Liban Gesaade, 20; Sagal Burhaan Hersi, 19; Siham Adan Odhowa, 19 and Sabiriin Mohamoud Ali, 17 were killed in the fatal collision. They were reportedly running errands together before a friend’s wedding.
