(MINNEAPOLIS, MN, 12/15/2020) – later today, the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN) will join a group of civil rights and social justice groups at a rally seeking freedom for Myon Burrell.
Burrell was a teenager when he was convicted of fatally shooting a Minneapolis child almost 20 years ago. He appears today before the Minnesota Board of Pardons in an appeal to have his life sentence commuted.
