Over the past two days, the mosque has received more than 14 calls from a St. Cloud-based phone number. The caller has left voicemails containing veiled threats and anti-Muslim slurs. In one particularly alarming instance, the caller sent a video link depicting the New Zealand mosque massacre to a worshiper who had missed one of the calls.
Given the alarming rise in mosque attacks in Minnesota—33 incidents since 2021—CAIR-MN emphasizes that such threats cannot be taken lightly. CAIR-MN is urging the FBI and St. Cloud Police Department to immediately investigate this individual, who may pose a serious risk to the Muslim community.
