CAIR-NY to Join ‘NYC 4 Ceasefire’ Press Conference and Rally to Launch 24-Hour Gaza Vigil

On Wednesday, February 28, at 10 a.m., CAIR-NY will join NYC 4 Ceasefire” for a press conference and rally to launch a 24-hour vigil at which participants will read the names of the almost 30,000 people killed by the far-right government of Israel in its genocidal campaign in Gaza.

Participants will also announce a campaign for the New York City Council to introduce and pass a resolution for a permanent ceasefire immediately. 

The press conference will begin at 10 a.m. at the Broadway and Murray entrance to City Hall Park. It will kick off a 24-hour vigil and reading of the names.

WHO: NYC 4 Ceasefire, a coalition of New York City residents & organizations calling on our City Council to demand a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

WHEN: Wednesday, Feb. 28, 10 a.m.
