The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today released its 2024 Presidential Voter Guide to help the American Muslim community make informed decisions in the upcoming presidential election. This guide provides a comprehensive overview of each major candidate, their party affiliation, vice-presidential running mate, and key policies.

The 2024 Presidential Candidates featured in the guide include:
Kamala Harris (Democratic Party) with vice-presidential candidate Tim Waltz
Donald Trump (Republican Party) with vice-presidential candidate JD Vance
Chase Oliver (Libertarian Party) with vice-presidential candidate Mike ter Maat
Jill Stein (Green Party) with vice-presidential candidate Butch Ware

The purpose of this guide is to empower American Muslim voters by providing comprehensive information about the candidates’ positions on critical issues affecting our lives, values, and communities. In a statement, CAIR Government Affairs Department Coordinator Shafiquil Muhshna said:
“The 2024 presidential election is a defining moment for our country, and for the Muslim community. It is an opportunity to make a real difference. Now more than ever, it is important that every one of us is informed and ready to make voting decisions based on the issues and the candidates’ stances on those issues. We need to know where the candidates stand on the issues that affect us all—healthcare, the economy, education, Palestine/Lebanon, immigration, and national security—so that we can ensure our voices are heard, our values are defended, and our community is represented.”

The 2024 General Election will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Polling locations will be open nationwide for eligible voters. To ensure your voice is heard, be sure to check your voter registration status, find your polling place, and review early voting or mail-in ballot options in your state.
