WHAT: The Council on American-Islamic Relations will be hosting its 10th
anniversary fundraising banquet, “Building a Better America: A Decade of
Dedication.” Speakers include Presidential Candidate Ralph Nader, Imam
Siraj Wahhaj and Amy Goodman from Democracy Now.
A sneak preview of the soon-to-be released Hollywood production “Muhammad:
the Last Prophet” will also be shown. The animated film features Prophet
Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) journey, how people started to embrace
Islam, and the immigration to Makkah.
