CAIR Says Israeli War Crimes, Abuses ‘Becoming Too Numerous to Document Fully’

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today Israeli war crimes, act of genocide and human rights abuses are “becoming too numerous to document fully” and citing:

Israel has already slaughtered almost 40,000 people – mostly women and children – in Gaza.

In a statement, CAIR Deputy Executive Director Edward Mitchell said:

“The far-right, racist Israeli government’s daily acts of genocide, ethnic cleansing, mass destruction, and forced starvation are becoming too numerous to fully document. From mauling a Palestinian teenager to death with an attack dog, to blowing up a refugee family traveling on a horse and buggy, to raping Palestinian prisoners with electric rods, the Israeli government is completely out of control.

“Despite this unconscionable behavior, the Biden administration continues the flow of weapons that enable the genocide. How many more people have to die before you enforce your own red line, President Biden? How many more?”

He noted that the International Criminal Court (ICC) is expected to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Gallant within the next two weeks. The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is expected to condemn Israel’s “permanent occupation” of the West Bank in a ruling on Friday.

Yesterday, CAIR called on the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to ban the Israeli government from official participation or recognition in the 2024 Olympics in response to its genocide in Gaza, just as the IOC did to Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine.

BAN ISRAEL – TAKE ACTION NOW!

Washington, D.C., based CAIR also condemned remarks by Republican Jewish Coalition CEO Matt Brooks that seemed to endorse ‘carpet bombing” Gaza.
