The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today said the Trump administration should focus on stopping the real genocide in Gaza instead of obsessing over an imaginary “white genocide” in South Africa.
In a statement, CAIR said: “Our government must stop obsessing over an imaginary genocide in South Africa while enabling the real and ongoing genocide in Gaza.”
That demand came after South African President Cyril Ramaphosa was confronted about the manufactured issue during a White House meeting today. When asked what it would take to persuade President Trump that there is not White genocide in South Africa, Ramaphosa said: “It will take President Trump listening to the voices of South Africans, some of whom are his good friends, like those who are here.”
