The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today said a new United Nations analysis of recent Israeli airstrikes in Gaza showing that 36 of those strikes killed “only women and children” further exposes Israel’s genocide.
The UN said today that between March 18 and April 9, there were 224 Israeli strikes on residential buildings and tents for internally displaced people. A spokesperson said: “In some 36 strikes about which the UN Human Rights Office corroborated information, the fatalities recorded so far were only women and children.”

Just today, an Israeli air strike killed an entire Palestinian family, including several children. Israel has slaughtered more than 50,000 Palestinians in Gaza, mostly women and children.
In a statement, CAIR said:
“The intentional mass slaughter of women and children further exposes the genocidal intent of the far-right Israeli government of indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu. The international community – and our own government – must end its silence and inaction as the Palestinian people face mass destruction, torture, forced starvation, slaughter, and ethnic cleansing.”
Yesterday, CAIR called on the Trump administration to address the latest reports of Israel’s torture of Palestinian prisoners.
Washington, D.C., based CAIR also called for the release of prominent Palestinian journalist Samer Khuwaira after he was taken from his West Bank home by Israeli forces.
