The San Francisco Bay Area office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-SFBA), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, will coordinate media availability at San Francisco International Airport on Friday, March 15, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to welcome home Dr. Mohammad Subeh, a Palestinian American and emergency room doctor at El Camino Hospital, following his five-week medical mission in Gaza.
In the heart of Israel’s genocidal war, Dr. Subeh witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of the onslaught against civilians, providing vital medical care amid dire conditions. From treating shrapnel and gunshot wounds to offering solace in moments of unimaginable loss, Dr. Subeh’s commitment to humanity remained unwavering in the face of the gravest challenges.

Dr. Subeh, reflecting on his mission, said:
“The devastation and suffering I witnessed in Gaza are beyond comprehension. The resilience of the people amidst such despair speaks volumes about their faith and enduring spirit and underscores the critical importance of recognizing our shared humanity. I am grateful for the support and prayers from my family, community, and all those who stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza. Together, we must continue to urgently demand a ceasefire, an end to this suffering, and lasting peace and dignity for the Palestinian people.”
In a statement, Dr. Subeh’s wife Naiema Din said:

His dedication to helping those in dire need, despite the personal risks and sacrifices, fills us with immense pride.
