CAIR to Join Multifaith Coalition in Final ‘Pilgrimage for Peace’ Rally in DC

Tomorrow at 1 p.m., the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, plans to join multifaith coalition partners for the final “Pilgrimage for Peace” rally in Lafayette Park outside the White House in Washington, D.C.

Since February 14, more than 200 faith leaders, activists, and artists have been on the march from Philadelphia, PA, to Washington, DC to urge President Biden and Congress to demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. The march is set to culminate tomorrow at Lafayette Park in Washington, D.C. outside the White House with a rally. CAIR National Board Member Johari Abdul-Malik plans to speak at the event.
