CAIR to Restart Daily Gaza War Crimes Report as Israel Resumes and Escalates Genocidal Slaughter

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today said it plans to restart its daily Gaza war crimes report after Israel reportedly slaughtered at least 6 and possibly more civilians during a funeral at the Nuseirat refugee camp.

Israeli strikes on a funeral left at least 6 civilians dead at the Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza. Some reports place the death toll at 5, others at 7, others at 12. The strikes reportedly wounded 22.

In a statement, CAIR said:

“Because the Israeli government has now consistently returned to bombing Palestinian men, women and children trapped in Gaza on a daily basis, we are resuming our daily report on these war crimes.

“Bombing a funeral is par for the course for the Israeli government. The Netanyahu regime’s hatred for the Palestinian people will not even allow them to bury their loved ones in peace. The so-called ceasefire agreement that our nation negotiated has been turned into a farce.

“Just as the world rallied to demand an end to the Gaza genocide at its height, we must do so again to stop this slaughter and demand accountability for those responsible.”

Since the ceasefire took effect, Israeli attacks have killed at least 1,123 Palestinians and injured 3,616.
