City of Santa Clara to Recognize the 5th Anniversary of American Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month

(SANTA CLARA, 7/13/2020) – Tomorrow at 1:00pm, the City of Santa Clara will be presenting the Muslim community with a proclamation to commemorate the California Assembly designation of August as American Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month. For the past five years, Assemblymember Bill Quirk has introduced this resolution to commemorate American Muslim Appreciation and Awareness month, and will be joined by Assemblymembers Kalra and Chu in introducing HR 99.

This ceremony will be taking place during the first few minutes of the city council meeting and may be seen at SantaClaraCA.gov, Santa Clara City Television (Comcast cable channel 15 or AT&T U-verse channel 99), or the livestream on the City’s YouTube channel or Facebook page.
