(WASHINGTON, D.C., 12/13/2023) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today invited community members to join its Know Your Rights as a Student webinar on Thursday, Dec. 14 at 8:30 p.m. ET and its Know Your Rights as an Employee webinar on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. ET.
Thursday’s webinar is set to feature CAIR’s Senior Litigation Attorney Gadeir Abbas and Government Affairs Director Robert McCaw. The webinar is designed to teach students about their rights when engaged in pro-Palestine advocacy. Saturday’s webinar is set to feature CAIR Attorney Rawda Fawaz and is designed to teach community members about their rights in the workplace when engaged in pro-Palestine advocacy.
