The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today announced that TOMORROW is the last chance to register for CAIR’s Sep. 19–Sep. 20 national leadership and policy conference and 31st anniversary national banquet in Washington, D.C.

Palestinian activist and former political prisoner Mahmoud Khalil is scheduled to serve as the keynote speaker at the Sep. 20 banquet and receive this year’s Champion of Justice award.
The 31st anniversary banquet on Sep. 20 is the culmination of CAIR Impact Weekend, which is scheduled to begin on Friday, Sep. 19th, with a national policy and leadership conference. The theme of CAIR’s annual banquet and impact weekend is “Resilience, Resistance, and Renewal: Charting a Just Future.”
The leadership and policy conference, which is open to registered and vetted members of the public, is scheduled to feature educational panels, strategic discussions and workshops on activism, advocacy, and political engagement.
CAIR’s mission is to protect civil rights, enhance understanding of Islam, promote justice, and empower American Muslims.
