Linda Sarsour to Emcee CAIR’s 30th Annual Banquet on Nov. 22

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today announced that activist Linda Sarsour plans to emcee at its upcoming 30th anniversary banquet on November 22.

Linda Sarsour is a prominent Palestinian-American Muslim activist. She founded the first Muslim online organizing platform, MPOWER Change, and has been at the forefront of major civil rights campaigns, including calling for an end to unwarranted surveillance of New York’s Muslim communities. 

Marking 30 years of defending and advancing justice and religious freedoms for American Muslims, CAIR’s 30th anniversary gala will celebrate a storied, accomplished legacy and unlock American Muslim power with an unwavering commitment to justice and equality.
